This is a 2 hour walking tour to visit the most emblematic building in Cordoba, the Mosque-Cathedral, which was declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 1984.
The Great Mosque was built over the remains of sixth century Visigothic basilica and was enlarged several times during the Muslim period. After the Christians arrived in 1236, it was consecrated as a Cathedral.
The Jewish quarter was declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 1994. Down these narrow, winding streets we visit the Alley of the Flowers, the 14th century Synagogue, the monument to the great Jewish sage Maimonides and the Zoco (souk).
